Gaslamp Burger & Lounge Bar & Grill 738 Fifth Ave, San Diego, California 92101 November 8, 2018

We were bored and went Downtown.
We were hungry, and we rolled by Gaslamp Burger & Lounge.
The music is cool and hip Latin type jams.
There is no Iced Tea.
I’m saddened.
I settled for the Stubborn Root Beer.
Heavy on the “settled”.
Nadine got the Gaslamp Burger with tomato, onion, pickles, cheese, lettuce wrapped.
The hostess did not roll her eyes when Nadine ordered the sandwich a special way. Points gained.
I ordered the SD Burger. Lettuce, grilled onions, pickles, cheese, avocado and bacon. Who doesn’t like Bacon? Amirite?
All burgers are 100% grass fed, so you can feel less guilty about your bourgeois ways.
The burgers came with a little side of special Aioli sauce. Delish, and it kinda sneaks up on you, revealing its spicy side! Not too spicy, it just lets you know it’s there.
French Fries are $4.50 extra.
My review of the fries:
Damn Expensive. Didn’t try.
The burgers were delicious. Grilled perfectly.
We’d return. Not for the Fries.

If you hate Iced Tea AND Root Beer, love a good Burger and spicy, sexy Latin Music while you eat, get to Gaslamp Burger and Lounge.
My Score: 3 Clean Plates (out of 5)
