Elio's Family Restaurant 260 Floresta Blvd, San Leandro, California 94578 October 18 & 21, 2018

We’re in fabulous, picturesque San Leandro, California. 😳
Getting breakfast before checking Berkeley out.
We dropped into Elio’s Family Restaurant.
Nice place; brisk business at 2:45 pm.
The server didn’t even blink at Nadine’s complicated order.
She had an Egg White Omelete with Green Chilis, Olives, and Tomatoes with Linguisa for the Protein and no hash browns. Cottage cheese instead.
I had the basic 2 Egg Breakfast, Over Easy, with Sausage and Sourdough Toast.
I’m boring.
Anyway, Nadine doesn’t do toast. I joked and said I’d take hers. I got hers too.
I have to mention the crispy and brown colored edges that you get from cooking eggs too hot. And the broken yolk, hidden by the hash browns. Clever.
Points lost.
The Coffee Cup never saw 1/2 full.
There’s no Ketchup on the table, but it appeared literally instantly upon request.
Speaking of awesome servers, we got one. Cheerful, friendly, patient and busy as hell.
Nadine loves her Breakfast.
I liked mine a lot, but I gave it the wrong phone number after a One Night Stand.
If you like Omelettes, find it fun to challenge a server to break under pressure, aren’t particular about eggs and need a reason to stay in San Leandro for another hour, go by Elios Family Restaurant.
Our score:
4 (out of 5 possible) Clean Plates.
On a side note, we had the pleasure of dining with the winner of Best Hat at Church today.

Fox News and Fox Financial News showing on the TVs; Points Lost.
UPDATE:
We went back today, because it’s the only restaurant in the area.
I had a Choice New York Steak and Eggs.
Wonderful. Everything perfect.
Nadine has Grilled Chicken Breast with Cottage Cheese and Fresh Fruit.
She was very happy.
Same brisk business at 1:00-2:00 pm today. I think this place must stay busy most of the day.
UPDATED SCORE: 5 Clean Plates (out of 5)
