The Iced Tea is on point.
Jason, the server never let the glasses run out.
As we’re waiting for our food, I’ll take this opportunity to curse Jason Mraz for butchering “Summer Breeze” by Seals and Croft, as well as the management for playing that song like 6 times during dinner.
That said, let’s get back into it.
Upon arrival, we were met with the “Bar Smell”. You know that smell that usually shows up behind the bar? Like something is rotten in the drains? We smelled it as we walked into the restaurant, and occasionally during the meal.
The bar was 40 ft. Away.
The lady had the Grilled Halibut.
I had the 4x4 Wagyu Steak Burger.
The burger is huge. They didn’t mention it was a Double Deck burger. I took 1/2 home because Leftovers.
The ladies Grilled Halibut with Cauliflower was spectacular.
One more mention: Jason W. is an awesome server. Never did the Iced Tea glasses reach 50% full.
When you come here, ask for Jason W. Apparently, there’s another Jason and he’s not as good. During the meal, it was confirmed that the other Jason is, in fact not as good.
We come here occasionally, we like it here and we’ll keep coming back.
If you like giant, reasonably priced burgers and expensive steaks, give The Outback, Mission Valley a shot.
My Score: 2 Clean Plates.
